Since 1969
BRIEF BUSINESS HISTORY
Galloway Appraisal literally started small - sharing end of desk with a fellow appraiser in 1969,
The following years, Galloway Appraisal was located in various offices in downtown Louisville. The first business plan was to obtain two professional designations from the most prominent organizations.
The first was SRA as a single-family designation. This was accomplished in 1970.
The next, and most important, was MAI - as a designated member of the Appraisal Institute. Ronnie L. Galloway was active in both local Chapters including serving as President of each Chapter.
When state certification was instituted, Ronnie L. Galloway served on the original Appraisers Board, having a hand in the foundation work for the State of Kentucky. Ronnie L. Galloway was honored for his work on the Board by be designated State Certificate #2, General Appraiser.
During the 1990's, a national golf appraisers group was formed to recognize appraisers that made golf course appraisal a specialized part of their experience. Ronnie L. Galloway was a charter member of the Society of Golf Appraisers and served as President of that group from 2000 to 2001.
In 2006, Galloway Appraisal moved from downtown Louisville to the location of present headquarters on Nelson Miller Parkway in Eastern Jefferson County. Our present group includes Ronnie L. Galloway, MAI and Certified General, 1 additional MAI and Certified General, 2 Certified General, and 1 Certified Residential and 2 staff members.
